First collections for South Island

Tehepe Farm
Mr and Mrs John Peters and son Philip, Tehepe Farm, Timaru with filled liners ready for collection.
We collected 8 filled liners from Tehepe Farm and these were subsequently baled into one large liner by Southern Express ready for transport to the recycling plant. The large bale of liners weighed 1640kgs giving an average weight of just over 200kgs per liner. Chris Hartshorne, Agpac's Recycling Manager said "The plastic we colleced from Tehepe Farm was very clean after it was stored in the Bin and Liner system. This means we are able to engage with the recycling industry to have this material recovered for reuse"
